FREE English Classes

Our Sumner class meets every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Sumner Family Center.

Our Parkland class meets every Wednesday at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Pierce County Library in Parkland.

We are working on establishing more classes throughout Pierce County. If you’d like to see a class in your area, we would like to know where we are needed! Please contact us and let us know!
Tutor Training

Spring Tutor Training brought us eighteen new tutors! We are so thankful that they are joining us!

Fall Tutor Training will be held around September to October 2024 at Community of Christ Church, 6912 40th St W., University Place, WA. A portion of the training will be held online and will require a stable internet connection. Training consists of two weekend days in person, and several evening seminars online.

Social Events
Our Third Annual Summer Picnic will take place August 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Bradley Lake Park picnic shelter in Puyallup, WA. Tutors, learners, and their families are all encouraged to attend. Some food will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Tutors, remember to RSVP for yourself and your invitees so that we can get an accurate head count.
